Prototype Ana arrives...

UFDC 2014 Ana cloned from this original...

Last year Dianna Effner created a Little Darling doll to honor the First Nations. The theme was "Shared Passions". The factory paint doll is still available on the UFDC (United Federation of Doll Clubs) website.

This dolly was shipped back and forth from China until the company, who made a number of the dolls in a limited edition,  had all the details right, to Dianna's satisfaction.

Ana is a lovely doll and this original is a beauty. She looks a lot like "Zoe" from Dianna's page on her site "The Doll Studio".

The last photo is of both this Ana and her clone...

Hi Sharon! Yes, that is interesting that the spelling changed along the way. Now I can try out my clone Ana as a blonde too! Or as a boy! Or I can pass her to a dressmaker here for some fittings. (Or I'll use Dasha for that, my Paola Reina).
I would love to try the eye glazing some day. And I'll have to check with you about the eyebrow, eyelash work Maybe a tutorial on your wonderful blog, Sharon in Spain?
I have more than one doll that could use that work!
Yes, I was happy to find Anna posted on eBay...

She's lovely, just that bit different from her 'clone'. I have a clone Ana who I call 'Reece', and I love her. I have changed her wig, glazed her eyes with the glaze that Dianna recommended, and thickened her eyebrows and eyelashes and think she's very sweet looking. I also have Zoe and love her too....actually I love them all!! That's the problem :)
    Hugs Sharon in Spain x
PS Am I allowed to ask how you managed to 'acquire' her? ;)
PPS I see that your Ana is actually ANNA with two 'N's!
